History: Peter Patrick Pettigrew IV was born in Brighton on a cool Fall day in 1960, or whatever year we're using for their birthday. He was born to Michelle and Peter Patrick Pettigrew III, both muggles, though quite wealthy and self absorbed ones. He had a relatively priviliged life, going to the best primary school in the country, and he was all set to go to the best secondary school in the country until he got his Hogwarts letter. Nevertheless, his parents liked the fact that they had a son who was special and who could be even more powerful than they had imagined, so they accepted it and sent him right away.

Peter himself was a rather round young boy, and never very popular in the schools his parents sent him to. Nor was he a geek, even, as he didn't like reading books or doing homework. He was just the fat little Pettigrew boy. Not much changed when he got to Hogwarts, except that three other boys were kind enough to let him sit in their compartment on the train. Peter took that as a declaration of friendship, and a real one started up under that early assumption.
